Science of Misuse has been anticipated by Drist’s hardcore fans. And yes, there are some. This independent band has sold over 110,000 downloads in the last two years. Yes, all the kids who uploaded videos of their Arterial Black Guitar Hero performances have anticipated this release as well. Music critics I’m not sure even know about this one, well, at least not the one’s who get paid big bucks to write for the big print publications. Wait… are there anymore of those? Or are there just little squats like you and me writing about the bands we feel proud to share with others? Although the band has gone through a few line-up changes, vocalist Tyson Yen and bass player Dave Pearl have held it together long enough to have Brian da Motta, their old guitar player back in the band. I think I can speak for the few hundred thousand plus fans Drist has by saying, thanks for another killer record!
